Makers & Shapers, a passion project born from Katly Investment, is a lifestyle sub-brand aimed at addressing a critical challenge in Namibia: youth unemployment. Rooted in our shared belief in empowerment, this initiative seeks to foster creativity and ambition among the country’s young professionals.


In 2024, the Makers & Shapers team partnered with Katly Investment to develop a brand identity that felt both personal and professional—capturing the spirit of their audience: young, driven individuals eager for practical tools that enable self-expression and career growth. At the centre of their offering was the ‘Back to Basiks’ journal, a versatile resource featuring undated calendars, career roadmaps, and adaptable dot-grid pages.


Our collaboration went beyond aesthetics—we co-created a narrative that spoke to the aspirations of Namibia’s rising professionals. The brand identity embraced modern, calming tones and sleek layouts, designed to inspire while maintaining a practical edge.
